Al LaCour is a retired Presbyterian (PCA) Minister. After serving as a church planter and lead pastor for four congregations, Al developed RUF International, the PCA's ministry for foreign-born students on American campuses.
I was trained as an engineer. I am committed to Christian hospitality. I love to develop welcoming and worshiping communities. And I enjoy serving as a mentor for young leaders.
With my beloved bride of 50 years, I reside in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, USA. We have two extraordinary adult children. Like me, they married well. My wife and I are the grandparents of three.
In a season of active retirement, God is calling me, now a septuagenarian, to work on my many "relational deficits." I continue to grow as:
✦ A Jesus Follower ✦ A Husband
✦ A Dad ✦ A Papa ✦ An Ambassador
I brew pour-over coffee. I create and curate photo memories with my Olympus PEN-ƒ camera. And I journal and muse with my small collection of fountain pens.
